Whatever are the beliefs, it is difficult to remain indifferent to the beauty and power of the gems. The variety of shapes and colors are glorious in the creation of nature.
**Where & what is their origin?
When the stones are in their natural formation they look like ordinary stones. After peeling, the inside stone is revealed, which becomes shiny after polishing.
Relatively high concentrations of gems are found in South Africa, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Tibet, and in many other countries.
**How the stone gets its color?
The gems & crystals get their color from the amount of the metallic oxide in them. They are found mainly in burst rocks (from the depths of the earth) and slate, and sometimes also in sedimentary rocks.
Gems& Crystals are made up of the same minerals that make up us and our food. The energetic effect of each crystal is related to its mineral composition.
Scientists and crystals lovers have examined the subject of composition and the properties attributed to the various crystals. It has been found that often, the properties attributed to a particular crystal, are the properties of the minerals that make it up. For example, amethyst, a crystal that relieves headaches, is made up of minerals that are part of the composition of headache relief drugs.
According to popular belief we will be intuitively drawn to crystals that have some or all of their composition, from minerals we lack.
It is known that colors have an effect on us, when in crystals and in general. The origin of the colors of the crystals is in the chemical composition and structure.
